Charcoal beginning at $300 for a quick study.
Pastels beginning at $400 for a quick study up to $2000 for full realism or detail.

The artwork may be any size that the client prefers. May I recommend 16" x 20" for head and shoulders, 20" x 30" and larger for three-quarter and full figure paintings. All travel, framing and shipping expenses are in addition to the prices listed. Each additional figure is 50% of the base price.The addition of animals in a portrait is 40% of the portrait price depending on difficulty and detail. Detailed backgrounds range from $500 to $1000 depending on the size and composition of the portrait.Payment is due half in advance, half upon completion.
If the client does not wish to provide existing photographs, I will travel to the client's location for a photography session. At this time, I will discuss the client's expectations for the portrait and begin taking photographs. The client and I will select the best portrait composition..jpg)

For oil paintings, a complete a full-scale graphite or charcoal sketch will be completed in my studio. Upon approval by the client, I will begin work and upon completion of the portrait, will mail photographs or email digital photographs of the completed work to the client for approval.
Upon approval, the painting will be shipped to the client. If the client so chooses, I will help the client with frame selection.
