Biography
Ibegan working in graphic art and logo design in college and began seriously drawing in pen & ink at that time. I worked in magazine publishing as a typesetter and layout artist for Travelhost Magazine and D-FW Home & Garden magazine. I then became a freelance logo designer.
Illustration was always my passion and while staying home to raise my children, I began illustrating and working in different mediums including acrylic, fiber and oils. Two of my black and white stippled pieces were published in two different months in The Chronicle of the Horse magazine in the 1990s.
My art is diverse and my portrait art has emerged in the impressionist style as well as my more abstract and pop pieces in expressionist style.
In addition to art clients and private collections, I have worked for the The Dallas Police Department's Central Patrol Division, DPD's Northwest Division, the Dallas Police Academy and the Irving Police Department painting fallen officers for their Memorial Walls.
